The year 2003 must have been the most difficult year. I was having trouble managing my condition, but I didn't want to stop working. In many ways, I was feeling useless for not being able to do anything. I had to do something to keep myself from being depressed.

During the days when I was feeling better, I decided to do some freelance work with a company based in Florida called Simbis Inc. Because of my delicate condition at the time, I could only do small projects with them: banners, small websites, print ads and some Flash projects. I didn't want to stop working because I might lose some of my skills. Practice does make perfect.

Thanks to Naturopathic care, my health improved tremendously. I still had Fibromyalgia, but at least I knew how to manage it. Eventually, I was able to handle larger projects and I was prepared to work full-time toward the summer of 2004.
